Seizing the Moment

In April 2017, GiGi New York launched in select Lord and Taylor locations nationwide, and Alicia conceived of and created a custom brand book to aid sales staff in discussing GiGi products with shoppers. In preparation for the launch, Alicia pitched her idea to the company’s owner, got approval, and worked with the sales director and handbag designer to meet the deadline. Alicia’s design was also cost-effective because it utilized the company’s in-house book-binding capabilities (GiGi has an affiliated brand of leather-bound notebooks) to produce a chic offering that featured a faux-lizard-leather wrap and custom gold-foil stamping.
