GiGi New York manufactures women’s handbags and employs a marketing model that emphasizes digital campaigns. As GiGi’s lead graphic designer, Alicia supplies the digital marketing material that drives sales. She conceives and creates two to three email blasts per week, working directly with the company’s owner to showcase the season’s latest styles, colors and designs. Her designs foster an aesthetic and brand messaging that ensures consistency across GiGi’s homepage, digital ads and social media posts. In order to create a variety of designs to highlight the company’s many offerings, Alicia works with a photographer to properly stage featured products, takes her own photographs when necessary, and also does copy writing.
